25.3.2013 / The 2013 tourist season at the ČD Railway Museum, located at the romantic depot in Lužná u Rakovníka on the edge of the Křivoklát Forest some 50 kilometres west of Prague, will begin on 27 April 2013.
ČD will deploy new and modernised vehicles in 2013 worth CZK 6 billion
19.3.2013 / The extensive modernisation of ČD’s rolling stock will continue in 2013 as well. ČD expects to deploy more than 150 new and modernised locomotives and carriages, including carriages of electric and diesel multiple units worth a total of ca. CZK 6 billion (ca. 234 million €). Regional transport will be dominated by completely new RegioPanter and RegioShark multiple units. Long-distance transport will receive additional modernised carriages.
Pars nova presents a modernised carriage for ČD long-distance
25.2.2013 / The company Pars nova, a member of the Škoda Transportation holding, presented a prototype of a modernised type Bdmpee 2nd class passenger carriage for ČD. The carriage is intended for express trains and EuroCity connections travelling at speeds of up to 160 km/h.
